Xander!!

A Fun Time in South Carolina with Meme and Family :)

We spent Thanksgiving week in South Carolina with Meme - later joined by Aunt Saun, Uncle Jim, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Roger and my cousins Chase and Taylor. It was a lot of fun hanging out and playing in a new environment - and having special time with mom and dad too.

With Mamma

A very fun weekend visit from Sophia

Mom's good friend Claudia and her sister Rebecca came to visit last month. It was a gorgeous November weekend and we had a ton of fun. We went out to breakfast, went to the Discovery Museum, watching Finding Nemo... just hung out.

Happy at Breakfast

What more could a little boy want! A tall glass of cold milk... a new toy from my friend Jackson... a cafe breakfast and of course, goofing off with Mommy. :)

My mornings

Here I am in the morning before school and at school. I also added a picture of my class so you can see all of the friends I am making!

It is the Xandersaurus!

So... this was my first REAL Halloween... Yes, my parents have dressed me up for the last two years... but this was the first year that I actually GOT IT... and had to be a participant. They were pretty concerned, to be honest. I was not at all into trying the dinosaur costume that Dad made for me, FROM SCRATCH, up until this morning. We went to my buddy Jackson's birthday party in Pacific Heights and I refused to put my costume on. However, when it came time to trick or treat... and there was candy involved... well, sure, I'll wear a costume to get some candy! Once it was on, I loved being a dinosaur... Happy Halloween!! xx

Nope, this little boy is NOT a ladybug!

Today we had a Halloween Parade from school. Our class has been preparing all week. First, we dyed t-shirts red. Then we took a day to cover them in black spots. Finally, we made headbands with antannae with styrofoam balls and pipe cleaners. We even practiced trying them on!

As you can see from the photos , once it was time to dress up and head into town, I wasn't having any of it. I wouldn't even let mom or any of the teachers get close to me with that thing! Me, a ladybug?! Please. All the other little boys and girls can go there... but not me. Hopefully I'll get into the festive mood and wear the dinosaur costume Dad lovingly made for me...

At least the cookies were good. And the antannae balls were fun to play with :)

Can you say "proud?"

I am really into building things as of quite recently. I love making boxes at school and today I used every single square lego I could find to build this "huge" tower!

Working it.

No, Mom... I don't want to nap. I want to lounge on the sofa in my blanket while you take cute photos.

Getting Crafty with Dad and Logan

Yesterday we *finally* carved that pumpkin. Well, Dad carved it and my buddy Logan and I drew pictures. I like Halloween!

Drawing in the Morning

So we were all ready to go to school the other day... and I wanted to draw a picture. Mom indulged me. I ended up telling her that I wanted to give the picture to Teacher Cara - so we did, and made her day!

Night-night

Mom just had to post this peek into a nightly ritual... books, bottle and binky (still... I know!).

Pumpkin Patch Season

We went up to Adobe Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma. It was enormous... with a corn maze, several jumpy houses, and of course, lots and lots of pumpkins....

Fun times with my buddy Logan

We went to the Smiths' house for dinner recently. Here I am playing with Logan's cool sandbox/table and checking out the computer :)

Camping!

Our family went camping with Uncle Beau, Auntie Page and James recently. Here you can see photos of us getting ready for a hike, having breakfast, and just chilling at our cool campsite. My parents are thrilled that I love camping too!
