"Boy"

One of my favorite foods is the avocado. We love the avocado at the Mak household. Recently, we had a pit that was eager to grow, so Mom put it in a glass with water and off it went. Before we knew it, we had roots spilling out of a glass! So, Mom and Dad took me to the nursery and let me pick out a pot. When we came home with our new pot, we planted the sprouting seed and they let me put it in the spot on the deck right in front of my bedroom window. I named the plant "Boy." I water it every other day and it continues to grow! It has ten leaves now (and yes, I can count to ten). Here is one of Boy's baby photos. More to come.

My first haircut!

So, Mom and Dad thought it was cute that my hair was all crazy and curly in my eyes and in my face... FINALLY Bryan came over in late July and took care of all of us. I got a haircut, my FIRST haircut, with Mom and Dad! There was a lot of hype about the whole thing, but to be honest, I was just happy for all of the attention and the freedom to eat my favorite crackers out of a measuring cup during dinner time. Oh, and now I can see clearly and don't have to push hair out of my eyes all day long :)

Yoga with Masa

We had an amazing visit with Miles ("Masa") in July / August. We had such a special time together... he taught me some yoga and just spent some special time with my family and me. For days after he left I kept turning my palms up at my side and saying: "Masa?... Masa?"

Here is a fun picture of one of our many little yoga sessions. xx

Fun Family Shots in Tahoe (thanks, Pattie!)

Lake Tahoe?! Tahoe? Tahoe!! I love it!!!

Wow... so the 4th of July in Tahoe was a BLAST. We went to the pool... I got to play with Lola and Maggie and Vivi (yes, all blond divas) AND Charlie... eat sno-cones, hang out on the beach, have water balloon fights, stay up late to watch fireworks... take parachute-on-the-grass rides... you name it! Here are some of the highlights. xx

Fun with my cousins Fisher and Lia!

It was great having my cousins come visit this summer. We had a fun dinner with great-grandma and family. All that said, the highlight of the night was when Fisher taught me how to make a Super-Scary Face! I still to this to show people that I really like them.

Life at home --

So, now would probably be a good time for me to address the miserable upkeep on this blog in recent weeks. ...ok, months. Well, there has just been a lot going on! We have been out and about, adventuring as usual, just a little slow on getting images added to the blog to share with YOU. We still love you.

Here are a few images of the day-to-day. Some in the morning, one with my new friends who live next door - Logan and Soren (who have their own SANDBOX!!) and just having fun. Love, Xander

Fathers' Day

Eleanor's Birthday Party

We had a blast... We were all at the Little Gym where we literally bounced off of the walls for a couple of hours. So fun!
