I've missed you!

Mom is finally getting around to posting some long-overdue pictures... we are all well. The winter is fading, days are getting longer... I am talking more and being more and more of a delight every day - probably because I am getting better at communicating :) Hope to see you soon! Love, Xander

Some Long Overdue Pictures From Our New Years Travels

Right after Christmas we made a trip down to San Diego for a week-long New Years retreat at Liberty Advance. Here are some of the fun photos of our adventures starting with a series of me being very active on the land in the fresh air and sunshine!

Dad and I had a great weekend. He took me to the Academy of Sciences, the beach (twice) and to visit Uncle Beau and Auntie Page. We also sent Mom this cute picture of us waking up this morning. We all miss each other - Mom sure appreciates the pictures! (In fact, she is posting these from Cannes to share!). x

The Age of Activity

I am all about "doing" these days. Whether it is building something, putting things in containers then taking them out (again and again and again), or playing with water (my FAVORITE) I am definitely a doer! Here are a couple of shots of me playing in the sink and at the nearby kids store. Mom took me out on the town on Thursday - an indulgent treat for us both.

I also saw a real live horse for the first time... at least since I can remember. He was much too big for me to feel ok about it :)

A couple of weekends ago, we went to the Beach Chalet with the Smiths for breakfast. While the grown ups were talking, Logan pointed out some fire trucks and other interesting things outside. We had a blast at the window looking out and then later down in the grass in the crisp winter sunshine.
